You smiled up to the sky, as your hand brushed against his. You felt a laugh bubble up in your throat and saw no reason why you shouldn’t release it. Today was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and you were with someone you loved. You truly wished everybody could experience this, at least once in their lives.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, and you smiled.

"You," you responded easily. He let out a throaty chuckle, and you could tell he was relaxed with you. The thought pleased you; you wanted him to feel relaxed and happy around you. You wanted him to feel what you felt for your knight back.

You loved the way that your princess thought, the way she viewed the world. You were both working for peace, and you believed that she could do something about it. You wished the world could see the beauty that Princess Euphemia held, but they were all mislead by the stupidest of things. Be it that her knight was you, an Eleven, or that she was a Britannian princess, people often missed the inner glow that radiated off of her.

This was something that bothered you greatly, but you would never let her know that. You would continue trying to better the world, with her as your new muse. You’d let her ideals become your own, and to be honest, that was alright with you.
